2/13/2009 10:30:27 PM If I was the 44th President, I would veto this Bill and explain honestly how the line item veto would put some sanity back in government. The media has chosen their leader and they are not misleading at what their mission is. If the 44th is going to make this harder or set the country down a road where Bush lies become law; then he can follow the same damned yellow brick road. Someone is messing with him with the 911 widow affair and so they are with us. This is why I try to keep my distance and love one person only.
The housing and banking industry is still in disarray and this spending has no legitimate explanation unless they wish to send a message and a very negative claim. This is no apology for the bonuses of the bankers who ran amuck still; this is the Bush charity aftermath; that is why there is no logical explanation. The money could have loaned temporary loans until the mess was sorted out while evictions pile up. The bill should be vetoed and a line item veto requested; there is no excuse. It is asking a fight by the media and they are very hungry for one. The media is vexing this next four years and the first volley is here. You cannot outrun the media or the feds. We have a massive insurgency on our hands.
